1.9.14 changing lanes on motorway [FIXED]

I'm trying to change lanes on a motorway in germany, and not one ai car has let me pull out while my indicator is on, add insult to injury when the car that failed to let me pull out, let the car infront of me pull out LOL I know that when 1.9 was first open to public testing the ai cars slowed to allow me to pull out, has this been changed purposely or broken while fixing something else?

And for me normally impermeable me in Germany cars on the other lane as the inclusion indicator.

I've also noticed this today. Cars now pay very little attention to your indicators and I find that when cars pass you on the motor way and pull into your lane, they now cut you up instead of leaving a fair amount of space.

Hopefully this is an error and not an intentional change, as to me this is a huge step back.

I've noticed that alot actually but it is kind of realistic that behavour when you think normal car drivers irl probably do that, I know i've been cut up by alot of irl cars

I've encountered same issue, AI not let you change lane by slowing down car, no matter if you used left indicator.

German "Autobahn"? That depends on the situation.

If the traffic is very dense, slowed down and speed on different lanes are almost identical, you may utter the wish to please be invited into the other lane, by indicating it with a signal.

On normal condition on a motorway, blinking doesn't indicate a wish. It announces what your are immediately intend to do. So if the situation doesn't allow to change lane without interfering with others, better forget to use the blinker and stay in your line.

If you set your blinker in such a situation, I would consider that reckless driving.

I would like to disagree with you on this one reinhard, mainly because, although i agree the on an autobahn, which i must admit i forgot are now in effect on ets2 in germany, indicating is, at least how i see it, a way off informing other drivers of your intention and also asking for assistance in such a maneuver, I'm currently learning to drive in real life and my instructor has instructed me on dense dual cariadgway to indicate and see if any drivers are willing to allow me to pull out to over take a slower vehicle, people in real life, although I live in the UK, will on most occasion leave a gap for you to join there lane, the problem with the autobahn on ets2 and i agree such a thing would be stupid, is that in ets2, most junctions result in a lane being removed from the cariadgway, making the 3 lane road into a 2 lane road for a period until the lane rejoins at the other end of the intersection, as i'm sure you are aware, this makes lane changing quite important, thus safe lane changing will be using your indicator even on a busy period so drivers are aware and slow down for you to make the maneuver which you need to make before the intersection.

Edit: I'd also like to add that if SCS did this intentionally then the ai cars shouldn't give way to other ai traffic, also I've now left germany and i'm traveling in france on a dual cariadgway, still noone letting me change lane except on a prefab where lanes merge.

I was talking of a German motorway/Autobahn only. This is high speed driving.

It's a bug. It happens in the UK as well.

Traffic (buses/trucks) aren't overtaking me on the motorway if I drive slowly they just stay behind like they used to.

If I put the indicator on, any traffic in the lane next to me just blows past as if I am not indicating. It's like they have replaced the code to 1.8 again.

Yep I've experienced this as well, also I've noticed in cities and on motorways trucks only sit on the outer lanes again, basically resetting it to how it was before

Going through the files it seems as though the AI Safety property has been removed entirely, I hope this is just a quick hotfix before the good changes are brought back.
