Introduce Yourself
Re: Introduce Yourself
Hy@all,
my name is Hans, I was born in 1967, come from the lower rhine in Germany near the border to the Netherlands and my occupation is IT specialist for systems integration.
My nephew infected me with the ETS virus but it was easy for him as I come from a family of truck drivers (my father was a professional driver and my brother and his son are professional drivers) and as a child I used to drive a lot with my father during the holidays.
And since I'm interested in both trucks and computers, it made sense that I'd deal with the topic of modding very quickly and have already created a few skins.
Greetings
Hans

Re: Introduce Yourself
Howdy howdy. Sean, recently retired from the military after 22 years, currently a caretaker. Avid gamer since the Atari and Nintendo days. Got a hand-me-down Pentium III from my dad when he had to upgrade for Autocad. Slapped new hard drive, memory and a 3DFX Voodoo graphics card in it and got heavily into MSFS, and from there my love for mundane and redundant gaming was born. ATS has been a perfect and enjoyable pass-time for me and it's an even greater experience in VR. Looking forward to hitting the road with as many of you as possible in the near future.

Hello, I'm Timo, I'm 40 years old and I come from Lüneburg. I'm in a wheelchair because of a truck accident, so I also have spelling problems

Hi all,
Dave here in Hertfordshire, UK
Retired a couple of years back and started flight-simming on an X-Box. Earlier this year i built a gaming pc to get Fs2020 working better, i've got an i9 12900K & RTX 3080ti pushing three 50" 4k screens plus two 1080p touch screens for my cockpit instruments - hopefully this will be plenty to get ETS2 running well
I thought i'd give ETS2 a go to give me a bit of variation - flying all the time can get a little tedious some days

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi. I somehow didn't see this thread. My username represents an old truck that was built by Mack. And it was back in the days when many trucks had the hanging windshield wipers instead of the bottom mounted. Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me. I live in Kirkwood, I have had relatives that lived in Dallas, Texas, Kirkwood, MO, and in Oswego, NY. One of the things is that I would love to learn how to make a map mod for American Truck Simulator. I am not sure if Blender takes care of that or is there a mapping tool I can use to make a map.
