Re: Introduce Yourself
I'm JCVD - Jacob Carter V.D from Mountain Home, Arkansas but now living in Gibostad, Norway. Followed a cute blonde and never left!
Kinda miss The States, used to ride a bigass F150 there - now I'm doomed riding a electric vehicle

Re: Introduce Yourself
Mine is 1948LJMack. I am now 62 years old. I chose that name in honor of a fellow who belonged to a historic truck club by the name of George Humphrey who drove an L model Mack. I am also a member of that same club which is really the American Truck Historical Society. The reason why of the L model Macks is because the windshield wipers on those things hung from above you and when the motors were from overhead, you got the clean part right where you are trying to see. Mack is one truck builder that does have an archive department which I do wish they would authorize SCS to have one in the game. When you hear me talk about state roads based on why they were popular, that was because when I was growing up, the Interstate highway system was still growing. When I was growing up, we still had bits of Route 66 still alive! I have seen it fade away.

Re: Introduce Yourself
I live in Lansing, Michigan and have been playing ATS for about 6 months now. Once I got to making millions, I came up with a way to make it more realistic and more enjoyable by operating it more like a business. I'll post a message in the American Truck Simulator General Discussions forum about how I do this.

Re: Introduce Yourself
I've been on the forum for a few years.... seems a good time to introduce myself.
I'm Alex, I was born in Dunedin, New Zealand.... I now live in Palmerston North, I'm not sure why
I'm big ice hockey fan, actually serve as admin on the largest hockey forum on the net. Got to enjoy Vegas winning the Stanley Cup last year, not bad for a team in their 6th season. Been playing ETS2 and ATS2 since about 2016.... never really cared for truck up to that point, I was here for the maps.... I'm still here for the maps, but have a greater appreciation for trucks and hauling. Have considered swapping careers but doing it in NZ has not been overly appealing to me. So yeah..... Hi.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello there!!
My name's Juan, im from Cordoba, Spain. I've never be interested in trucks, but on pandemic, YouTube gave me some channels as suggestion and I started to watch some videos. Recently, on October '23 I purchased the game, and on xmass I had already got a basic steering wheel (G29) and all map DLCs.
I can play only on weekend (sometimes I have few hours on weekdays, but normally not). I'm very newby... but Im here to learn about trucks and the game and to enjoy the experience with mates.
So... lets drive!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello All,
Been known as Big Lou through all my years working in oil refineries.
Retired 2012 left New Joisy and moved to Vermont to be with my girlfriend and now wonderful wife who is 7th generation Vermonter.
Everyone here calls me the flatlander. Out here they call them mountains but not like the 14,000 footers out west.
Total newbie in regard to ATS, I just purchased it a few days ago. Going to have some fun with this.
