Just another average guy from the UK!
Been an ETS2 and ATS fan for years.
Currently playing on a Steam Deck - which is much better than you might think!
I also play some Farming Simulator 25.
I live in the Midlands area of England, about halfway between two cities.
I've moved around a little, but I always come back to my hometown - there's a country song in that somewhere, I'm sure!
And that leads on to my next line, which is to say that I'm a country music fan - always good music to drive trucks by!
Anyways, add me up on Steam or check my WoT profile.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi there, I'm Lucas from Argentina. I've always loved trucks (especially American ones). I've only recently discovered this community, and I think it's excellent in every way, not to mention the games, with ATS being my current favorite.
I consider myself a big fan of the Western Star brand, although you hardly ever see them here in my country, except for some 4900 on the construction sector. SCANIA and IVECO are the dominant brands here, the major players, and there are tons of those around.
Greetings from the "Southern Cone", and I hope you're all doing well!

Hi everyone, I’m Kerby J. H. Hernández. I’m from Venezuela, but I’ve been living abroad for a few years now (an experience that led me to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture). In ETS2/ATS, I go by the handle LECXEN (a name that comes with a story of its own). I love trucks because my father was a truck driver—he drove a Mack R600—and I think that’s where my passion for trucks (especially Macks) comes from; in real life, I’ve driven actual trucks, specifically Volvos and Scanias. I first discovered SCS Software back during the *18 Wheels of Steel* era (specifically the *American Long Haul* version). Even though I came in at that stage, I don’t feel like I missed out on anything, as that was arguably the best version prior to *Extreme Trucker*. I’ve been following SCS Software closely ever since.

Hello Everyone! Just Getting Started with American Truck Simulator
Post merged into dedicated into thread.
Hi everyone, I'm new to the SCS Software community and wanted to introduce myself.
I've recently started getting into American Truck Simulator, and I'm really enjoying the relaxing yet detailed driving experience. It's surprising how immersive it feels—from managing cargo deliveries to driving across long highways and exploring different states.
I'm still learning the basics such as improving parking skills, understanding different truck setups, and exploring mods that enhance realism. There’s a lot to discover, and I’m excited to gradually improve my driving and setup.
I’d love to hear from other drivers here—what trucks do you usually drive, and are there any mods or settings you would recommend for a more realistic experience?
Looking forward to being part of the community and learning from you all.
Safe driving everyone!
