Ok mate I'll try it again see if i get any better luck this time round, I don't think I changed any graphics settings though (due to the fact that they are set up slightly less than high for smoother Streaming so I really have no wish to alter them anyway)

One more note. Don't use alt-tab too during plugin working (you can use it, but when you will return to driving mode - game will crash).

I still can't find a way to correctly initialize Logitech steering wheel with a game & plugin. Game can re-init steering wheel. Plugin can't.

lol..... profit?
anyone has an alternative for the plugin? or any good setting for in game?

I tried to download the plugin but its just confusing where you have to put the file and stuff. it would be much easier to watch a video and follow the steps so you don't make an error.

thanks

Don't change graphic settings (that will reload game). It caused a crash with plugin.
After changing those settings quit the game and start it again.
Hi Supric,

Could you please make a new post and walk us through the plugin download again please. your previous post seems abit old now and there might be an update available for the plugin you used now. THAT wILL be very helpful..... Please

Whuh? I don't understand. What part of

Code: Select all

1) you need to put this file into the ETS2 game installation folder to this especific location:
Retail: C:\Program Files (x86)\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86\plugins
Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86\plugins
is confusing?

Sir!
first of all there isn't a file called plugin in win_x86....
Secondly when I open the plugin in folder there are 2 folders inside it, one called ffb and the other one is at... which one should I copy in win_x86? and do I need to copy the whole folder or just the files inside the folder.

Hope you can explain this!

Thanks

Create folder "plugins" there.

take files from ffb folder:
Real_G27_ffb.dll
Real_G27_ffb.ini

and put 'em to "plugins" folder you created.

That is a big problem for me then unfortunately as i Livestream ETS2 and have to Alt+Tab to one of my other screens for various reasons whilst streaming and also more importantly right from the start as i need to Alt+Tab out of the game to refresh OBS (Open Broadcast Software) before it will even show the game in the stream..

Incidently there is a way around this with most other games and that is a program called borderless windows where you run a game in Windowed mode and the borderless windows program will emulate it to fullscreen and allow you to run the mouse cursor off screen without minimizing the game, but of course ETS2 has to be the one game that I own that won't allow this to work (i get the recurring dx9 error)
