@kstudley
Just run your browser in the background, why expect SCS to code a bunch of redundant code into the game.

Re: Wishlists Megathread
I would like more of what I call "Flat nosed" or "Short nosed" trucks (I.e. Freightliner FLB and Peterbilt 387 is an example on what I call "Long nose").

@Lillen SCS makes models of trucks currently in production for the most part. There are no cabover American trucks being produced in N. America so it ain't gonna happen. You will need to use one of the existing mods to have a cabover truck.

Re: Wishlists Megathread
Need atleast 1 maybe 2 train engines at the front of the train. It look silly for 1 engine to pull that heavy heavy loaded cars.

Re: Wishlists Megathread
^Most everyone will agree here. 2 would be the minimum I'd say. Its very very rare you see a single engine freight train in the US I bet. 2 engines and up to like 20-25 cars. Then I'd have a more seldom spawn of 3 a engine train up to like 25-35 cars. Mods do a lot more but they have issues. I think if SCS can rework the how trains work and spawn, that would be one more element that is good.
If none of the above is possible, maybe simplify it more. Right now I think we get like 10-11 cars. A good rule of thumb could be 10-11 cars per engine.
1 engine = 10 cars
2 engines = 20 cars
3 engines = 30 cars

Re: Wishlists Megathread
So far I haven't seen a long train in this game.
Re: Wishlists Megathread
There are 3: rd party mods that give you that but last time I checked it wasn't updated to latest version of ATS
Re: Wishlists Megathread
Ok not sure really how feasible this is. In my mind it doesn't seem like it wouldn't be too hard to implement, but then again I know nothing about computers and coding/game development lol.
Anyways I know there is a slider I beleive for weather. The higher you have that, the more it will rain. I say eliminate the slider. Just make it an "on/off" option.
If you have it on, I would love to have like a weather radar. I'd love to know if I'm about to drive through a storm, and how long it's going to last. It would be cool to see on map that there is a huge storm up ahead, and I'd have to make a decision. Continue driving and hope for the best, or, time permitting, find a rest stop and "wait it out".

Re: Wishlists Megathread
@Trucker_71 Oh I didn't know that! So North America doesn't produce "Flat nosed/Short nosed" trucks anymore that explains a lot. Thanks for the clarification.
Re: Wishlists Megathread
@Lillen Those phased out in the mid/late 90s here on North American roads. The ones they did make was for other countries but even they stopped doing that.
