SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@Kass
I completely agree with you.

I like the fog and if not so I just change the weather :D

@arifrahman42 Like i said does not work, with other weather or similar mods, in this case Grimme's mod only work the environment the snow in the roads, terrain etc, the rest will not work, such as weather, sky, rain etc. In this case RBW does not change the snow in the environment thats why that part works of that mod, otherwise will not and the rest will not either. That includes all other mods that change the Weather, Rain etc etc
So whatever mod is on top will make the other mod below completely useless. Even sometimes might mess up the sky because of the climate or few other things.
If you want to change the season it is easy as well, open my mod and inside the def folder find this file env_data.sii and edit with notepad for example change this for whatever season you like (You need to change all 3:

Code: Select all

lamps_on_elevation: 1
day_in_year: 172	//
summer_time: 1	//
Now Reshade´s are different in this case and should work without any problems ;)
Should I add a line saying winter_time: 3 // ?
Thank you.

@olaf28 Yes exactly, and they can change it if they do not like something in particular, to their personal liking.

@MIL No, do not change that to: winter_time. If you want to change to Winter time for example, Longer nights and shorter days, the line (Above) to edit is this: day_in_year: 172 this is the number you have to change. Example, if you want to be December time number: 339, So it should be like this:
day_in_year: 339

Since last SCS update, I noticed some changes/tweaks were made by the SCS regarding the graphics and some colours, environment etc and some got "messed" up specially some skyboxes in RBW got too "bright / Whit(ish)" :?
RBW is going under a lot of tweaks in general, colours, skyboxes, Climate, Weather etc

I upgraded my mods and map combo from 1.41 to 1.43 today, and I noticed that now the temperature is stuck at -7 °C no matter the time of day except in rainy conditions where it drops to -10 °C. I found this to be the case in Scotland, Germany and Sweden. Is that intended? previously the temperature gauge changed quite frequently during the day and night.
Sorry for walls of texts, I often can't keep myself short...

@Dr_Jaymz If that happens at night is because of the Fog. If not could you take screenshot when that happen please.

@TMLM Thats because i have changed while testing RBW snow edition:
viewtopic.php?t=306908

I just keep forgetting to put the temps back, but you can easily edit the temperatures in climate files if you want.
