Hello Kass,

RBGW stopped working for me after recent updates (it was working in January). All the sky is black, see screenshot. I'm on apple M4. I don't see any errors in the log

Kass, the nights are like the black hole of calcutta. It's way too dark I just find the nearest parking spot and stay there the night. Even had some funny stuff going on with the graphics like satan himself broke the game.
This is always the same, starts to get dark, fog comes in, and then a black hole. Only started happening after the last update mate.

What would I need to tweak to lift the lighting at night a tad?

@jimmycalifornia Thats how its should be!!! if there isn't any light source like lamp post etc near by of course it will be black or even pitch black just like in real word

Hi. This is normal, although it depends on the latitude of the region. But the blue color before the dark phase doesn't look very good.

I fixed it (kind of) by downloading the "no fog" mod, so thanks for that Kass. Then got Trainguys "realistic headlights" which helped a ton (it's actually a really good mod, quite realistic)

Another guy just released a new "realistic day and night mod"

If I understand correctly, this mod simply changes sunrise and sunset. It doesn't affect lighting or anything else. Like, for example, there's a control in the settings for the friend, under the letter "S"

Sorry Kass. I unsubbed and resubbed, got rid of the no fog addon and it is all good. There are darker nights mods much darker than Brutal, I guess some of the files needed properly updating since your update.
