Frosty Winter Weather Mod v9.7 [Upd: 09 Dec 2023]

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@bumbumek - Thanks mate :)

@Zizu - It's not possible unless you use the Clean Roads addon but that will remove snow from all the roads.

@grimes A little OT. A heads up you have forgotten to rename the free download with ads link for Late Autumn/Mild Winter on your site it still says version 4.7 for 1.44x

Probably because Grimes usually keep his weathermods updated.

@grimes Will the next version feature compatibility with SibirMap? At least half of the map's grassy areas remain with those green patches. But I understand this has been an issue for a longer time already, also other maps had this problem, thus not easy to solve? edit: just noticed the earlier posts, so unless SCS fixes this on their part there's nothing you can do?

@Pfc. Leyden - Grassy textures and coloured terrain are two seperate issues, when it comes to grassy textures unfortunately I don't have the time to make Frosty compatible with the many maps that are available to use for ETS2, presently I try and make sure that Frosty is compatible with the default map and all it's dlcs, Promods, Rusmap & Southern Region and by doing this hope that this makes it compatible with other maps, if anyone wants to point out specific issues with certain maps then maybe I can rectify these.

Coloured terrain on the other hand is a long standing issue that unfortunately I can do nothing about, these are the green, yellow, red etc patches you see in the snow, I recently had further feedback from SCS relating to this and it seems like it's a wait and see situation in relation to providing resolution to this problem.
