interior and chassis are two separate models.. but imagine cabin, interior, chassis and ext_interior in one model?
I've often wondered in a model that's say 10Mb but you have 5 variants in it.. would 5 separate pmgs at 2mb each be better for performance or worse?
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

The new feature that was added in version 1.44 caught my attention. I've tested it in the Day cab of the truck, But I can't see the chassis from there, what is the problem?

It must be separated due to the movement of the cabin, chassis and other things, the physics of these models. If it were from one part, then that model would be rigid.

Everything will be okay in the end, and if it`s not okay, it`s not the end.

did you add the value into the def files ? for me i could see the chassis on the Cascadia daycab, on the w900 i couldnt, maybe because the window is to high for it

Does it matter where in the interior def you put this: show_chassis_rear: true ? Does it matter if it's above or below a certain line?

Edit: just added it to the Grey Old Dash in Viper2's pete. All it shows is wheels. Those black pieces were already there I'm not sure why or what they are...

It's not related to a specific shader in Blender is it? I thought that line would be good to go as is. Or this is a locator issue?

Interesting new stuff :D

Love the "re-introduction" of lifted axles that are steering when up

Code: Select all

steerable_lifted_axles: true/false
Also the new wheel system with s_ and d_ prefixes on the definitions for separating single and double mounted wheels. They need to do some more though... use the hub as base for all parts and not as now by using the rim as base. ;)

but it means you have to overwrite some rim_data.sii file, if i understand correct. And if some other mod did that too, you already in trouble
