SCS Blender Tools
Re: SCS Blender Tools
Hi. I have a few ideas in mind, but I don't have the skills to do it. I really want to do and I'm hungry for information. I need documents, videos or people to guide me for this.
What I want to do is to color the roof grids made by Hs Schoch and Scs in the game. If I can just make it white for now, that's enough for me.
I know I have to use blender. I managed to import the models, but I don't know how to continue because the interface is too complicated.
Waiting for your recommendations.

Make a simple white texture, 512x512 will be plenty. With the model imported, at the top left click "Viewport Shading" or press Z.
Select the object and at the bottom right click "Material Properties" and make a new material and name it.
Scroll down to Shader Presets and pick one, dif.spec will be fine for a basic texture or dif.spec.add.env if you want proper reflections in game.
In "Material Textures" choose the base texture you want to use from your documents and select UV_0 or whatever the UV name is called for it.
Make sure the texture is a .tga, click the Create TOBJ button in the middle of the 3 options.
Adjust "Material Attributes" to your liking (tsnmap is for normal maps if you have one)
Once you're finished with that go to Output Properties and make sure the export path is set correctly (vehicle/truck/upgrade/scania/roofgrid for example)
Click export then down to pack it. Point the packing mod section to your game mod folder (Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod)
Give the mod a name and click pack. It will then appear in the mod folder. You will need to copy over an automat file for it to work in game, check the game.log if it throws up a "no texture" error. Just copy over the automat/xx folder or whatever the error mentions from the exported mod into the main mod if that makes sense.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
Just redownloaded it here without problems. Try another browser perhaps?
When you say it isn't working, what happens?

Hello.
When speedometer animation is slower than normal truck speeds, what changes should related tools have in the definition?
