OK, so I tried posting this in the bugs forum, but it was merged with a 1.17 topic about the Missing textures/geometry issue, and I got no further help there, so I am posting here.
I am having flickering textures (see the middle lamppost in the two pictures below), which is making the game unplayable.
(Click on image to enlarge) (red boxes show errors, both images taken within a second of each other, without the camera moving.)

I'm curious... How does flickering images make the game unplayable? Is it crashing or something? Because I have things popping in and out, mostly from the original game areas, but it's not unplayable. I just ignore it...

^^ Distraction and while imagining / roleplaying as a truck driver, it is turn off to see it is yet another vectoral software with bugs, reducing simulation feeling or driving.

Some may ignore it for some it is complete reason not to play...

My weak point is lack of stable AA / FXAA support for nVidia, and having GTX 660 Ti with i7 4770 processor, seeing all jaggy lines, increasing scale dropping FPS to become stuttering images like black & white movies, compared to rest of modern games on same system...

Well, yeah. But taking things too seriously can lead to bigger problems, such as depression, when reality doesn't meet your expectations. [ external image ]

Well, it gets to the point where you can't see the road, or the screen fills with said exploded textures.

Following the post about the fix, as shown in the screenshot, the beta option has disappeared. I had to reinstall my steam games a little while back, but the OS X_Beta option is gone, so rendering the game unplayable for me.

The beta version being the only way me, and other older mac users are able to actually play the game.
