Activation Key

Hi,
I have ETS2 ver 1.13.3 but I don't have an activation key to it.
Can Iget it from anywhere.
My mods don't work coz of it
Please help!

A genuine activation key (i.e. one you bought from a reputable seller) will be valid for all versions.

If however you don't have a genuine version then you're on your own as you won't receive any help from here.

The costs of sending the disc to SCS for inspection exceeds the price of a brand new activation key by a fairly large margen

why would one need an activation key after he activated the game a long time ago? unless he's reinstalling but the OP says he already is on 1.13.

You can get the activation key either from the email you received from SCS if you purchased the game from their website, or it should be in the box that your discs came in.

Other than that, you cannot "get" activation keys from "somewhere".

Don't get me wrong there are people running disc versions (and plykkegaard might be hinting towards that fact if 1.13.3 was indeed a disc release) and they are happy with the mods they have for that version, so they are more than happy to stay on that build, i get that.

I also get that the inlay or even the whole box can get lost or damaged beyond repair and a new HDD install or a system upgrade or wipe caused you to need to re-install from scratch would cause you issues, but we all know full well that there are also people that run a particular version because that's the crack they could get to work, pure and simple, I'm just trying to establish which it is in this case..

I doubt it's a Steam version
Could be digital download from SCS and the key was lost
I assumed proof of purchase wouldn't help OP as the key could be sold 2nd hand (no evidence)
Disc is only viable option as noone would return to the shop complaining about nicked items or would they

Didn't get an email on the activation key I downloaded from scs software

The legacy download is for users who purchased the game while it was still available outside of steam (in which case you should have your email from time of purchase). If not, try contacting SCS with some of the details of your original purchase.
It doesn't seem to be intended to provide a free copy (of an older version) of the game.

Short answer, for a key you need to have purchased the game.
