Will ATS have expansions that will cover North America?

Pardon me for going OT. That "years" sounds as scary as promising. First, the good side of it - ATS will have continued development long after its initial release, something we're experiencing with ETS2 and it'd be awesome of SCS. More trucks, map extensions and possibly more features. Now, the scary side - If the game continues development for such a long period of time, hopefully SCS have thought about migrating to better versions of DX and have plans in place to make the asset conversion or whatever it'll take to make the move when it comes to that, else it'd be sarcastically funny to play ETS2 & ATS on DX9 in 2020 which although seems like a-year-in-the-future but its just 5 yrs from now.

Yes, totally agree with you about moving up to newer versions of DX. Hopefully they do have a plan for that, otherwise ATS (and ETS2 for that matter) will be far behind visually/graphically in the coming years.
