I already have a virtual screenshot thread, it's about time I added a real life one.

I am primarily a public transport hobbyist (buses, trams, metros), and you will see those photos if you browse my Flickr, but I occasionally do take truck photos. I will be sharing North American and European photos on here, as and when I acquire them. But to start us off, here are some I photographed during the airshow in Toronto last week.

I don't know most of these truck brands, so if anyone wants to fill in the ones I'm missing, feel free.

Hey guys!

I recently returned from a two week trip in Europe. Even though, again, most of my time was devoted to public transportation photos, I did find the time to make some truck photos. I have a lot so I may have to split this into multiple posts.

Location is given in the description of every photo on Flickr. Most of these, however, are taken on the D1 Highway in the Petržalka borough of Bratislava.

Does anyone happen to know what the model name of that LIAZ is? I couldn't find the info on the internet...

I'm assuming these are MAN TGX trucks... I have little knowledge of MAN trucks so I'm not sure.

Wow... I forgot about this thread

Well, I don't take truck photos very often, but I did intend to share some other photos from my trip to Slovakia here. Somehow, I forgot to do that Here they are now.

An old Volvo in the city center of Bratislava.

As you can see from my Flickr, I'm mostly a public transport guy, and on September 19 I went to the open house of the Bratislava transport company. They did have some utility trucks, though.

The day after, I photographed this at a rest stop. I have no idea if Volvo did anything different to the 2013 stylings of the Volvo; Ohaha's truck mod looks very, very different to the vanilla version of said truck, and it resembles a lot of photos I've seen of real Volvos. This is refreshing because it looks most like the trucks you see a lot of in my screenshot thread

Not far from where my grandfather lives, there is a zoo in the hills. There was a Renault truck of some kind parked there.

And that's it for photos. I may post some other Canadian trucking photos up here at some point, but it probably won't be until 2018 when I get some more European truck photos here. Thanks for viewing!

When you did say you don't know MAN very well the first "TGX" is TGA, older model, Truck of the year 2001

Maybe it's cause I'm not a MAN truck hobbyist by nature, but it would be nice if the different models had some kind of features to distinguish them. I wouldn't get a Volvo FM confused with an FH Classic, even though they have a similar design.
