While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Polarlicht wrote: 09 Dec 2021 12:43 Just a shame that all ingame tyres have different tyre shifts. How does one solve this problem?
@rookie_one and @xXCARL1992Xx had fixes for tyre shift. Which work for the front tyres, but rear tyres still have either a gap or clip into the rim,
depending on the model, brand and if its a xx70xx or xx80xx tyre!
There is no consistency between SCS' no-name, Michelin, GY tyres
#BlameSCS
i dont know wich values i used when i made the post but some time later i adjusted them for me, try -0.0025 for every rear disc of the mod, then it should fit SCS, Michelin and Goodyear tires, dont know about galimims thought
I think it doesnt even matter what values one writes. I think scs tyres itself are messed up. Each Model has a different zero position. You kinda see it even with scs rims.

I like scs tyres sizes better than for example abass current tyres. His xx70xx seem too small, which could be more realistic to IRL, but still...

thats why tire_shift exists, SCS cant model a disc that fits to every wheel, so the tire will be shifted to match, the wheels on the truck orient themselves on the disc, not the tire, the disc 0 point is the 0 point for everything else

SCS tires also use tire_shift depending on what wheel, like i said it would be nonsense to model a disc that matches every tire or vice versa

So we have to like adapt each tyre for each rim?

One thing i've also noticed, is that no matter what you write in the tyre shift of 9" steel colored, the tyre doesn't move.

I can't wait to see @abasstreppas new tyres pack. Pictures look promising so far, and way better than the current one.

@Polarlicht that company will be the owner of the company I work for irl  . We will stay in our yellow blue colors and own name for now. For my Wemmers truck I need a really dirty Alcoa wheel pack  .

Hope this wheelpack gets an update, it's my favorite wheelpack

Hi can someone tell me if he is working to update the wheel pack?
I've noticed with the 9" wheels that there seems to be a noticeable gap between the outer lip of the wheel and the rest of the rim.

I find that -0.05 works quite well for the heavy duty front wheels (abas_steel_hd.sii and abas_steel_hd_c.sii in the def folder)
