Re: What car do you drive?
2023 Toyota Tacoma four door TRD Off Road, its a fun truck, it always pains me that there are European cars, buses, and semi trucks that won’t come to the US (we actually want the vehicles to come in the US) so instead of being able to drive the Hilux I have to drive a Tacoma instead but the Tacoma is a lot of fun especially in the winter time

I use my father Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 120 since I don't have enough money to afford my own car.

I really want to get a Toyota Tacoma myself whenever I get financially settled down. I think the smaller trucks seem great. Right now I drive a Hyundai Entourage 2007.Tim The Terrible 777 wrote: ↑26 Aug 2025 14:49 2023 Toyota Tacoma four door TRD Off Road, its a fun truck, it always pains me that there are European cars, buses, and semi trucks that won’t come to the US (we actually want the vehicles to come in the US) so instead of being able to drive the Hilux I have to drive a Tacoma instead but the Tacoma is a lot of fun especially in the winter time

The one thing I love the most about my truck is that I can actually fit the big four door model with the short bed option in my garage and I love having four wheel drive in the winter time

Re: What car do you drive?
Hello, everyone.
I love topics and conversations about cars.
I “grew up” in my father's auto repair shop, so I've driven a lot of different cars and have a lot of experience.
My first personal car was a Volvo C30, 1.6 diesel, manual transmission, with a basic set of options. I have a lot of memories associated with this car. Thanks to it, I met my future wife. I really loved this car. And the diesel engine forgave my mistakes with the clutch pedal.
Then I switched to an old 1997 Nissan Laurel. RB25, no turbo, but a full package of options, leather interior, automatic transmission. It's funny that I switched:
From European to Japanese
From left-hand drive to right-hand drive
From diesel to gasoline
From turbo to naturally aspirated
From manual to automatic
From velour to leather
From 100 horsepower to 200
Except for the 16-inch wheels, these two cars had nothing in common.
Laurel served me for six years, and my sons “grew up” in it. It was incredibly reliable. I tried hard to break it, but I couldn't. However, nature broke it: beavers ate all the metal, and the car almost rotted away. I sold it to drifters, but the guy ended up repairing the entire car and now also drives his children around in it.
After that, I bought a new Kia Rio X-Line with a full set of options. It is a very good car, the best in its class. It is reliable, unpretentious, ideal for the city, and has all the necessary options. The main one is the speed limiter. Set the limit you want and you no longer have to worry about speed limits and cameras with fines. Very convenient. Now my father drives the Rio, and I bought myself a new one.
Kia XCeed with a 1.6 turbo engine producing 200 horsepower. Because of its design, color, and character, we nicknamed this car “The Wasp.”
It has the perfect balance of power and weight, excellent design, a comfortable interior, and a full range of options. I really love this car.
Now I'm saving up for a Subaru BRZ or Impreza. It's my childhood dream, a Gestalt that I've been wanting to fulfill for a long time
