SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@pelski6 there's no passwords/locked mods here extract the files or edit in the mod itself
2009 wasn't - 2012 was ... so halfwrong...or halfright
fyi, previous version wasn't locked, don't think much have changed in the chassifolder

Re: Volvo FH&FH16 2009/2012 classic [1.44]
well, when I am trying to open the chassis.sii * file I get the prompt that the archive is password protected. Is it because I'm trying to open a .scs file with WinRAR? The standalone SCS program is not working for me .
Thank you

@ pelski6
Use notebook++ to open .sii files. Its what I use to edit chassis files (and others if needed)
Edit: Apologies. You cannot open files as I stated above. I only just installed this mod as PM has only just been updated. I went in to adjust a couple of things in 8x4 chassis and indeed it won't open.

Hello,
I also confirm that for the "v28.20 FOR 1.44" version of the mod it does indeed ask for a password.
Cordially.

I, myself, prefer using Visual Studio 2022 for any and all code editing tasks.
You can write almost any way you want, and you might make yourself understood.
But, if you don't use standard English properly, you would also help people understand that you aren't well educated.
