SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Hello friends, I can't find anything in this post about it, so I prefer to ask.
The fact is that I have a logistics center created with the map editor and I would like to know if there is the option of adding my company to virtual speditor to be able to create loads and have it appear in the virtual speditor interface.

Hello,
yes there is. How to do it, depends if you want to have it for owned trailer, or for freight market.
For freight market, you need to add entries for your company in a mod. So, you need to have company/in and company/out folders and files there. Those gives the game information where and what you can ship from and to given company. If you will have any cargo going in/out - Speditor should see your company, and allow to add cargoes.
For owned trailer, you have to do above to see the company in game by default (you can use exlude companies option in Speditor as well - so even if no cargo is shipped to/from company it should appear). And additionally, you have to use Speditor Map tool to create your own mapSet for it. This is, because Speditor needs coordinates for loading/unloading bays for your company. They are not possible to add other way, than using mapTool. You can search for Tutorial for creating mapSets (it is linked on first page). It may be usefull.

Hey. Where are profiles located in the Steam version? My Documents/Euro Truck/profiles is empty; I've searched for it in the Steam folder as mentioned here https://steamcommunity.com/app/227300/d ... 757173810/ but I haven't found them there either; I've disabled Steam Cloud and nothing.

I've looked for the answer both in this thread and in the read me, nothing.

I hope somebody can help me.

go into the game and where "manage profiles" uncheck "upload to steam cloud". In the Documents folder, find ETS 2 and open the profile folder.

I already did that. Documents/ETS2/profiles is still empty.

I'm playing 1.42 + ProMods 2.57, and I guess that's why I also have a Documents/ETS2/steam_profiles(1.42.1.7s).bak folder (?); inside it there are two folders named with a bunch of numbers, and inside them the usual config files and a save/autosave folder, and inside a game.sii file that Virtual Speditor can't "decode properly".

Edit: nevermind what I just said, I had unchecked steam cloud on Steam but not ingame. However, Virtual Speditor still can't "decode properly" any savegame. I've tried both autosave and my own save, I get the same error message.

which version of Speditor are you using? try newest one - it is decoding saves for 1.43 (and earlier) properly...
if this won't help, you can change in main config.cfg of the game (not profile)
uset g_save_format "0" and set it uset g_save_format "2" - this makes save files easier to decode, but also larger - so some lags are possible.

However, in newest version of speditor, there is newest save decoder, which should work for 1.42 and 1.43 without problem.
If you are using older save files (like not playing for longer time) enter your profile in game, and allow game to save it again, before using Speditor. This also may help with decoding problem.
You can also check error.log from Speditor folder and post it here - it may show me what is the problem more clearly (for example at which place it is failing with decoding).

Nice! I had downloaded v. 2.14 (thinking this was the correct version for 1.42 saves), I have just downloaded v. 2.17 and it works like a charm.

Xyzan one question about this new virtual speditor... If remeber correctly there was a time/km limit about 3000km?Or then you be late on the delivery..
Is it still there or can you adjust it somehow?

In current version, you can alter the distance if you don't like. It is set to 3000 but there is text window, when you can set your own value if you don't like proposed one
