SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

hello friend, I'm trying to create a map set of a private map, but I can't find the solution, my question is, in the mod folder, do I put the complete mod, or do I open it and take out the map folder? Thank you

I edit this post not to create another one, the fact is that I follow all the steps of the tutorial, and the problem that arises is that in the merchandise market I can create cargo with origin and destination in the companies of my private map, but with a trailer own tells me "you cannot load in this company, it does not exist in map file for owned trailer"

Hello, I repeat the post in case someone is going to create the mapset for promod 2.61, and can tell me where my mistake is, I manage to create the mapset for my map, but it only works for freight market, for the trailer itself it gives me an error, it tells me, that there are no coordinates for that map, thanks.

Freight market is not using mapSet. It is using save files. This, unfortunately, cannot be changed. I will try to upload PM2.61 for 1.44 later. I'm away from any computer till mid next week.

@ThunderSky Earlier today I made a MapSet for ATS 1.45 beta using your tutorial earlier in this discussion. It worked perfectly first time. Thanks for sharing that knowledge.
After I finished the mapset, copied it to VS and ran it, I saved a job from Jackson to Cody. Before copying mapset145 to VS, the app wouldn't let me save a job to Cody.
Now that the game is a new version, do I have to re-save the map data like before? or is my current one valid until next map DLC release?
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

If you made an ATS 1.45 mapset and the game got some fixes today, the map you've got should work perfectly untill the next major update (aka 1.46) or untill a new map DLC get released and you want to play in it.

Remember: you can always use VS with a normal job without mapset, the mapset is needed only if you want to use your own bought trailer.

If I didn't understood you correctly, please tell me and I will try to explain ^^

@ThunderSky Ah yes. I only do jobs with owned trailers so the mapset idea works for me. I suspect that even a new city added to an existing DLC or base game would require a new mapset. Thanks to your tutorial, it's very easy and only takes 10mins. If all goes well I can share a link here and other folks can use it too.

oh... maybe...
it looks they were doing something with units count - I usually put 33 all the time (this was capacity of curtainsider and refeer in ETS) - now, it seems it can vary, or game is correcting it... This may mean, they are doing something with multidrops - job smaller than trailer capacity... Or, they just changed trailer capacities... anyway, they are doing something with trailer capacity vs jobs... good sign ;)
