Can someone help, please? I can't run ATS for love nor money

Hello All,

I bought and downloaded ATS earlier on, on both mine and my sons PCs. His works fine...mine, not so. Unimpressed, lol! If anyone has any idea on a way to fix this, I would be very grateful! After plug and play, I don't have a clue on settings, what log files mean...I'm clueless, sorry ) I'm a total novice here!

I had been playing ETS2 for months with no issues at all. Today my new hard drive arrived. I installed my Win10 and now I can't play either games. I was using my Drift O.Z. previously and it worked a treat. Now, I can start the game, create a profile, choose my starting garage location, do the wizard and choose my Drift O.Z. and then on loading, it dies. Same on both ETS2 and ATS.

Well you've done great in posting the game log
Personally can't see much wrong in it, but I might be missing something. You said "it dies" - is there a crash log as well? Might be more clues in that.

Wasn't there an issue with Win10 and the Documents directory where it was 'read only' ??
That's all I can think of apart from the log file being seemingly incomplete.

Maybe the game.log will tell us something, can you show it to us.

Maybe missing/invalid drivers for Drift OZ?
Try removing it and start a new profile

Note: Drift OZ is a game wheel

Thanks guys, I appreciate the replies already.

@jarvik79 - lol, I was reading on this forum for a good hour or so before I posted and read about posting those game log files on various other posts

@room217au - I got all excited then as when I checked my folder, sure enough it was read only. Changed that...and nuffing.

@plykkegaard - I'll have a go with removing and then re-installing my Drift O.Z. (might have made sense really to mention that it was a steering wheel, sorry)

I shall go tinker...wish me luck!

I'm running ATS!! *claps* D

I checked the read only thing on the documents folder and altered that. And then thank you to you, plykkegaard, I uninstalled my Drift O.Z., tried the game on keyboard only and it worked just fine! So I re-installed my Drift O.Z. and Bobs your uncle! D I'm two jobs in and still going.
