SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Hey Smarty, sort of unrelated question, but not quite to a degree. I seem to recall you stopped updating your license plate mod because you said something about SCS "stepping up" themselves with the quality of their ID, WY and CO plates.I always wanted to do something similar, but for ETS2 as I could never find a similar mod for it there. I suppose I could "reverse engineer" the folder path in your mod to see where the vanilla plates are stored in ETS2 (assuming they're in the same place as ATS), but do you have any tips in regards to how far I can push it in terms of resolution or how to change the "structure" of a plate and support regional codes for countries like France or Germany like you did for civilian/police plates, as well as trucks/trailer plates? So far the only thing I could achieve was to change what was written on the plates of my truck without going through WOT, but had little success beyond that.
Thanks in advance, and it's nice to see the Scot getting more updates recently.

This is still one of the best oldschool trucks for ATS imho. I just hope to see the working odometer and spinning window handle in the future and it would be perfect for me. Thank you for your hard work, Smarty!
Oh, and I also suppose the NTC-290 (and other low-power engines) consume too much fuel - almost 1 liter per 1 km! I set 0.65 consumption coefficient and it seems fine. Adding some more real Fuller transmissions (like in the Skoot's pack) would be awesome too. I'm having a great time with this truck fitted with the 7+2 transmission.
