It should. The only "change" in 1.52 is the addition of the Driving Academy module. All the major changes are rooted in 1.51.

The little thing I wonder about this truck is - was it supposed to have high beams IRL?..

@PikPikker Maybe the single-headlight variants had two bulbs in one casing, one for headlights and one for high beams?
This is just an idea – no idea if it's true or not.

US-style "sealed beam" headlights were still popular on North American (including Canadian and Mexican) trucks even after the law requiring them on all US vehicles was taken out in 1984. Whether round or square/rectangular, a "sealed beam" headlight was basically a fancy incandescent lightbulb. The front lens and rear reflector were assembled together with a filament inside and the air removed, just like with an old light bulb. They were just made of thick, tough glass that could hold up to road use. As time went on, they became incredibly inexpensive -- which made them appealing for use on commercial vehicles since replacement was cheap and it was easy to stock replacements -- there were only ten varieties:

Large round with both low- and high-beam filament assemblies inside
Large rectangular with both low- and high-beam filament assemblies inside
Small round low-beam
Small round high-beam
Small rectangular low-beam
Small rectangular high-beam

There were heavily standardized chrome housings for both the large and the (doubled-up) small sizes that were used by many truck manufacturers. They didn't have to style the headlights and mountings -- just the area where the standard mountings would be attached. Some manufactures didn't even bother designing headlight mountings -- they just used standard ones from suppliers. (which was cheaper for fleet maintenance, too). It was common on fiberglass hood/fender setups to just style in a flat rectangular area large enough to punch out an appropriately-shaped hole for the manufacturer's chosen common headlight mountings. You usually saw large round or rectangular high/low combined headlights on lower-cost models, and the dual individual low and high beam units on the fancier trim levels.

It all seems odd with today's aero-styled trucks which need custom headlight lenses and reflectors to fit properly with the bodywork. And the modern headlight systems do a much better job of illuminating the road. But the US "sealed beam" setup hung on for quite a while because it saved costs for manufacturers and fleets until the fuel savings of aero designs became undeniable.

Interesting, thanks for the info! So Scot in 1976 had the high beams in single casing, and I guess in the game it looks very close to reality. Good. But the problem is, there is no high beam button/switch in the interior... :(

At the time, floor switches were typical for highbeams. Just a 1/2" diameter little button near the clutch. It's not really somewhere the player will typically be looking, so I didn't bother adding it.

Ohh, this makes a lot of sense, no animation needed in this case indeed :D

Thanks for the info, Smarty, and once again for this wonderful rare truck!
