SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@Arvidsson-Källqvist There's no D13 for the Volvo or no D13 in the mod?

No reference to D13 in the mod's files. And there's no sound ingame if using a D13 engine. I've done some research and KW900 said on a previous page that there's no files for D13 as this mod replaces the original SCS sounds for it, and that most people who had similar issues found out that it was a mod conflict, but I just tried it out with 2 different completely vanilla profiles with no other mods active and there's still no sound.

I've just tried with the stock SCS VNL and Aradeths VNL 670 and they both have engines on the D11, D13 and D16 engines with the Sound Mega Pack 3.9 enabled.

I can do a quick video if that will help?

Now this is mega weird! I have never ever seen such thing from any SCS games, even though I've been around for a while...

After roughly 3 or 4 hours of messing around, researching, testing, copying files over, messing with the def stuff and such... I managed to make the mod work just by restarting the game. :shock: (Previously I just exited the profiles to the laucher menu, when messing with the files, and trying other versions)

I'm really embarassed now. :?

Ha! I have fallen into that exact same trap as well. There is a big difference between exiting the game to the launcher menu and completely exiting to the desktop and restarting it when modifying the contents of mod files.

a game restart is only needed when modifying FMod related sounds because they are cached even if you just switch soundmods, everything else a reload of the profile is enough
