I have tried to add Volvo D13TC engine sounds from Kreichbaum mod to this mod but the sound doesn't work. I copied the sound files to the sounds folder in the mod. And updated the @include line for the new sound file however when I enter the game there is no sound. What can be the issue?

Really odd, works now. Apparently all i had to do was restart the pc. Found it out today lol. Almost never had to do that before

I did the same but the mod still does not work. The game is playing the vanilla engine sound instead of kriechbaum's on the international lonestar (1.46 OB)

They are both Kreichbaum mods, the Volvo D13TC mod is for ETS2. I have tried to create D13TC engine files with realistic engine torque curves for ATS and wanted to use the sounds from the ETS2 mıod as ATS version only has sound files for Volvo D16. So right now I am using these sounds ingame for D13TC engines.

Hi everyone,

I have modified all of the engines (except for CAT 3408e as the values were taken from another mod and I couldn't find any torque curves for this engine). I have added Volvo D13TC, D16, Mack MP7 - MP 8 - MP10 to the mod with realistic torque curves as much as possible. The newer engine datas can be found and I used these datas for torque and HP output. I am also adding conusption_coefficiency parameter to all engines based on the production year of the engine, comments from the forums and youtube videos. I also changed the prices and unlock level of all the engines to fit, right now priced according to HP. But I am planning to make older engines cheaper.

According to the tests I made I am pretty satisfied with the results so far.

I will not be publishing my edited engine files without permission from Kreichbaum. I am only sharing my accomplishment and if anyone interested in this I can share some of the test results.

Hi guys,

i just came back to ETS2 & ATS after a nearly one year break, now i started driving the Western Star 57X Cabin Truck i think. The one with the 2 displays, and i was surprised that the sound was god awful, so i looked at the mods and found that the new 4.1 version of this mod mod wasn't activated

But even after finally activating it, nothing changed. So i wonder is there no support yet for the engines of the truck, or is this a bug on my end ?

You need to buy an engine from the mod, it doesn't change the default engines.

Thanks for that, just looked at the supported engines and i had the DD16, but still the Western Star 57X isn't supported yet sadly.

I wonder why ? Hopefully it wil be supported soon, it's a really good looking truck, that i would love to drive through Texas on the 15th
