O.G.IceCube96 wrote: 07 Nov 2022 22:28 Thanks for that, just looked at the supported engines and i had the DD16, but still the Western Star 57X isn't supported yet sadly.

I wonder why ? Hopefully it wil be supported soon, it's a really good looking truck, that i would love to drive through Texas on the 15th :D
It does change the sounds for the default engines. The 57X is not currently supported, but it's not hard to edit the mod to add it if you're not afraid to extract the mod and edit some text. There are instructions a few pages back.

This mod is really a must have, the closest thing to driving them rigs IRL like I'll be doing next week, and I'd really like to give a spin to the newer trucks ... I tried to edit the mod to make it work with them but I only get deafining silence or CTD ... guess it's not my cup if tea.

Would some kind soul share his/hers working edited version that support the newer trucks, it would be really appreciated ...

Safe travels,

@myrddin I can share my definitions. You can download them here:

https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... ln3RUdmd3y

UPDATED 2023-01-24! I made an mistake when I was copying definitions. Please delete old definitions and download an updated version!

Note: There is definitions ONLY! You still need Kriechbaum's mod.

First download and unzip my def file. After that open Kriechbaum's mod. DON'T extract it, just open it. To open a zip or scs file you need file archiver program like 7-Zip, WinZip or PeaZip.

Drag and drop my def folder in the opened mod file. If file archiver ask permission to replace files, click Yes.

Close file archiver window and click Yes, if necessary.

If everything is ok, you'll see Kriechbaum's engines in the newer trucks and in many mod trucks too.

I added all his engines to all my definitions because I'm lazy.

Thanks for clarifying that, luckily i found my love and appreciation for the Lonestar again, so i use that for the Texas DLC. But good to know that there's some instruction if i ever need it.

I wonder though, why the 57X isn't supported? Kriechbaum was always so fast with these, that i'm a little spoiled when it comes to that :D Is there some kind of problem, after all its just the good old DD engine isn't it?

Thanks @Mesu, lookin' good. Checked the 9900 and 57X at the dealer and all the engines from the mod appear to be there. Appreciate your lazyness ...

This is GREAT (a la Tony the tiger ...)

Safe travels !

PS: I'll try to figure out what I missed when I tried to do something like that myself
