After you copy the engines over you have to rename the truck in all the engine files to the one you want to use. It's a tedious job unless you use notepad++ then you can rename them all at once.

I figured there had to be more to it than copying the directory. I do use Notepad++, and got it working now. Thanks.Trucker_71 wrote: ↑09 Aug 2022 03:04 After you copy the engines over you have to rename the truck in all the engine files to the one you want to use. Someone previously wrote that he opened all the files at once with the notepad++ application (when editing western star 57x), but I don't understand how to do it.... Maybe the translation of the foreign language is not understandable to me. Copy the 49x folder to the desktop and rename it to 57x. So far so good. Notepad++ only opens the folder for me...

I use a temporary folder, I copy all the engine and interior files I want to that folder. Click on an engine to edit. Highlight the truck name between the dots, then hit CTRL H and you will get the menu as below. Enter the truck name you wish to use in the second line.
Then use notepad++ as shown in the image below. Click on "replace in files" I forgot to circle that.
When you're done, move all the modified files to your new truck folder and put it in Kreichbaum's def folder.
Pretty simple really.

@Shadow_Wolf I would think the process would be the same as above except you're adding a transmission. (?)

The Integrated Detroit dd15 is not in the mod or the other sound mod I checked out. I have set the other engines up with sounds for the 57x but there is no file for the Integrated one. Unless I am missing something.
