Re: Engine sound mega pack 4.1 date 2022/03/11
Just a short question out of curiosity:
I've installed two engine mods modificating some of the Cummins engines: Kriechbaum's "Engine Sound mega pack 4.1", and "Cummins ISX Engines & Sounds Pack" from eelDavidGT.
First, generally both mods seem to work fine although being activated at the same time, Kriechbaum having one position lower priority than eelDavidGT. No crashes or other issues.
But:
When having activated eelDavidGT ISX engines, Kriechbaum's ISX ones show a turquoise "R" in the symbol:

Does anybody know what this actually means? Can't find any expression for which the "R" might stand, and having searched the forums, YouTube and other sites for an explanation, wasn't successful, neither.
Thx

When Robinicus was making the engine sounds I helped him with the icons, it was just me personalizing the icons. It has no meaning outside of that.

Thanks for the explanation.
But it is a bit strange, that the "R" appears next to Kriechbaum's ISX engines and not to those of eelDavidGT/Robinicus, if you look closer at the picture and the icons...
Apparently, ATS is confusing the icons.
Hmmm...

Re: Engine sound mega pack 4.1 date 2022/03/11
Because the Kriechbaum ISX uses the stock SCS icons and the icons with the R replaces the stock ones so the Kriechbaum engine pack defaults to those.

Re: Engine sound mega pack 4.1 date 2022/03/11
Yes, I understood that.
But it's exactly the other way round: As soon as Robinicus' mod is activated, Kriechbaum's ISX engines get the "R" icons - not Robinicus ones. When deactivating Robinicus, Kriechbaum icons get back to the normal ones.
That's way I pasted the engines' mod descriptions into the screenshot above.
Not a big matter since everything is working smooth.
But just a bit confusing...

Put Kriechbaum's mod above
Robinicus in the mod order.

If you read back a few pages you'll find instructions on how to add trucks to the mod yourself.

Does anyone know if there are sound mods for western star 57x? I didn't find anything on the internet.
