Engine sound mega pack 4.2 date 2023/02/04

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

kriechbaum any possibility to add gtm trucks as supported? i know there is a "fix" for this pack but half of the engines dont work since a while. And would be also nice to have all of them in this one single pack.

I just tested my definitions with all GTM trucks. Everything works fine. Well I was wrong. I made mistake when I was copying definitions.

Isnt the CAT 600hp series included in this pack? or i am mixing things? because the CAT600hp (the only one of 600hp included) crashes the game everytime you select it on GTM trucks because its missing the transmission definition in the "fix". And if it works for you, then you are god, literally lol. It also happens with other one i cant remember as well.

If you downloaded my definitions, I made an mistake when I was copying files. That's why my definitions cause troubles with some trucks. Please delete old ones and download an updated version:

I didnt download your definitions, im using the original ones (the ones most people are using i guess) from JamesKirk from the OFFICIAL post of gtm trucks. But since he is not updating the fix anymore since a while, apparently, the CAT series are screwed for life unless someone (in this case kriebchaum) includes them in a pack. I can only use cummins engines or low powerec cat in GTM trucks and its a shame, cuz i want to use (like most people i guess) the caterpillar engines in its maximum power. I love the sound. And it fits most of my trucks way better than any other engine.

I guess i could learn myself how to include custom trucks as supported for some engines (actually its not hard but with everything you need time), but im too lazy right now. Too many things in my heads and too little time. :(

With the 5700 now released @kriechbaum your DD engine sound can support SCS's 5700 now.
