SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@WINGER No, that's what the CAST Addon is for. If you have questions concerning the CAST Addon you may post them here or on the Steam Workshop page.

Had the same problem, I'll try to explain what worked for me.LoaderSaints wrote: ↑04 Dec 2022 10:07 @WINGER No, that's what the CAST Addon is for. If you have questions concerning the CAST Addon you may post them here or on the Steam Workshop page.
1 - Download the folder "Real Eaton Fuller Transmission", forget the folder "Real Eaton Fuller Transmission [Mod Truck]"
2 - Use the 7-ZIP program, find out the name of your truck in John Ruda's open file folder. In my case (389 Glider) the name is "pete.jc".
3 - Go to ---> Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions\def\vehicle\truck and create a folder with the name of your truck. Copy the content "transmission" to your folder, it is located in any folder inside "truck".
4 - Go to ---> Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions\def\vehicle\truck\pete.jc
Note that "pete.jc" is the name of the folder I created. Go to transmissions and choose the transmission you want, open it with notepad.
5 - In notepad make the change in:
SiiNunit
accessory_transmission_data : eeo18f112c.215.pete.jc.transmission
Where is "pete.jc" will be the name of the truck from the folder you copied. Replace with your truck's name. Take care, your truck name must be placed correctly. Do this for all gear ratio options, if you forget one it won't work.
If you have any questions, send me a message. Sorry for my english, work in progress.

The CAST Addon was created so that one would not have to do what was described above as it allows addition of trucks just by renaming folders instead of modifying thousands of files.

I couldn't find the program, so I did it that way. It doesn't take 20 minutes.LoaderSaints wrote: ↑18 Dec 2022 13:04 The CAST Addon was created so that one would not have to do what was described above as it allows addition of trucks just by renaming folders instead of modifying thousands of files.

It is not a program. It is a mod archive found in the first post of this thread by clicking the link titled "Addons & legacy versions (Google Drive folder)".

Can you add the Eaton Procision Dual-Clutch Automatic?

Re: [REL] Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions v22.10.4 (ATS)
I don't think it would fit ATS very well, the Procision was a medium-duty transmission, not a heavy duty one

@JuanSB Like rookie_one said, as those are for medium duty trucks/school busses there is really no point in adding them.

Would it be possible to get support for the scs western star 5700xe?
I tried cast and yet again couldn't get it to work.

In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.
