Whoops!

1.7.1
- Tube type now available on trailers
- Fixed bead seat gap on Goodyear G661 HSA 11R24.5

-----

I started working on the next little addition to the pack on stream last night: tube type Alcoas. I kind of messed up some of the dimensions on the steel tube type rims, so I will need to fix those for the next major update as well.

Tube type wheels and tires were very common until about the 1980's when tubeless radials started getting some traction. The Super Hi-Miler, if I recall correctly, came out in the late 60's (the design still looks fine for much older equipment). The six-hole steel rims are loosely modeled after designs dating back to the mid/late 40's.

That 5 hole Alcoa is glorious to see. Legit excited to see those in the pipeline.

Any chance you'll toss some ball seat/inner/outer nuts in as well to go along? Those would even be nice with the other wheels since they were in use until the late 80s or early 90s as I recall. I know yous technically need different hubs and the center bore and lug pattern are different, but I'd settle for just the lugs on the vanilla spacing for simplicity.

they looked weird on eg Dieling's Superliner, which is why I asked. tube type wheels were in use on Kamaz trucks well into the aughts, on the other hand

Hi Smarty, I still can't modify the wheels on the step deck trailer, is that correct?

That doesn't have anything to do with Smarty's wheels, that's another mod that messes with a trailer_config def file that's not updated for the new _d wheels definitions, check your mods or try on a clean profile with only Smarty's wheels.

Loving this new update!!! Ive been waiting for proper tube type 20 inch wheels for years!! I just have one small suggestion, If your gonna do the 5 hole Alcoa's would it be hard to make the popular 10 hole version. As far as I know they are the same just with 5 more holes.

@Smarty thank you for this! It’ll be nice adding these tube Alcoa’s to the Pete 352 and your Super Seal trailer
