GPS pins remain after disabling navigation route [FIXED]

When navigation route is turned off the whole GPS pin/waypoint feature is hidden too, which I like. But now when you enable it, place a pin, and then disable it, the pin remains with no way to remove it. (except for first enabling navigation again) May be intended, but due to the inability to remove it I'd expect it to be permanently removed or temporarily hidden until you enable navigation again.
