Re: Fotos from Canada
Wrong continent don't you think?
Also if copying the Flickr link then you don't need to put img tags around it because there are already img tags in the copied link.
This bit may not be understandable but you don't need the last two lines in url tags.

Re: Fotos from Canada
It's your BBCode, which I assume you copied from the Flickr page:zrex01 wrote:How do I not have the writing on the lower edges ???
Code: Select all
[img[url=https://flic.kr/p/yQ6dWc][img]https://farm1.staticflickr.com/748/21547627455_7167133467_c.jpg[/img][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/yQ6dWc]20150913_082359[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/128887335@N03/]wayne j leblanc sr[/url], on Flickr][/img]This address:
https://flic.kr/p/yQ6dWc
Redirects to this address:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/128887335 ... 547627455/
Which opens a page that primarily has this image on it (along with some other Flickr stuff), which is 1,024px × 576px:
https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/748/21547 ... 3467_b.jpg
(This address was not found: 20150913_082359)
Next comes this image, which is 800px × 450px, and that is the Thumbnail of the larger image:
https://farm1.staticflickr.com/748/2154 ... 3467_c.jpg
You need the Thumbnail because the forum rules state the maximum image is 960px x 960px. But you don't need all that Flickr stuff, and you can leave it out. In your Flickr links, find these two links:
https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/748/21547 ... 3467_b.jpg
That is the "Main" image, 1,024px x 576px.
And this image:
https://farm1.staticflickr.com/748/2154 ... 3467_c.jpg
That is the "Thumbnail" image, 800px x 450px.
Then put them together like this:
Code: Select all
[url=https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/748/21547627455_7167133467_b.jpg][img]https://farm1.staticflickr.com/748/21547627455_7167133467_c.jpg[/img][/url]
by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/128887335@N03/]wayne j leblanc sr[/url], on Flickr.[ external image ]
by wayne j leblanc sr, on Flickr.
So that's how you do it. However, that "Thumbnail" image is 800px x 450px, which in my opinion is large enough to post by itself. No need for all that extra stuff. I only do that if I have an image that is at least twice the maximum dimensions allowed. (But I'm lazy at times...)
There ya go! [ external image ]
Edit: I just realized I did not answer the question I quoted... [ external image ]
Specifically, put a space between your image links and your text. In other words, right here, where I put this "!":
[image links]!by wayne j leblanc sr, on Flickr.
Attention Boy: I got your PM and tried to reply but you have PMs blocked. Unblock them and send me another PM. 8/9/2025
