@Adrian Zgripcea - Let me know what happens, you may also receive this error if you are using outdated mods/maps so make sure they're updated for 1.45. Also bear in mind that newer dlcs such as BTBS apply much denser grass than older parts of the map by default and it doesn't cause issues.

@grimes - I also doubt it could be your addon since I've had this error sporadically in the past (although not within the same day in both ETS2 and ATS). In ATS the crash occurred after switching to the top-down camera. Since 1.45 I've noticed that the game sometimes stutters for 1-2 seconds when switching to the top-down camera, today was the first time it also crashed. After loading the profile with and without the extreme grass addon I didn't notice any significant changes in VRAM usage.

I've had a quick look in the mod manager and all the mods are updated for 1.45 or at least confirmed to be working on 1.45, although I need to do more testing. I'm only using ProMods on the profile where I got the CTD (same for ATS).

Do you use any launch options? I've been using these for about a year: "-mm_pool_size 8000 -mm_max_resource_size 40 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000" (16 GB RAM)
Also, r_buffer_page_size is on 30.

@Adrian Zgripcea - Apart from nointro I don't use launch options, have you tried without them?

I will try removing them, but since the crashes are occurring so rarely it's hard to draw any conclusions. No issues today after playing for 1-2 hours with the grass addon enabled. I'll let you know if I stumble upon anything else.

Edit: I started the game today, took a job from ProMods Munich and got a CTD (the same error from before) when leaving the city, at the junction towards Salzburg. After loading the profile again without the grass addon, it luckily started me right at the beginning of the job. This time the game didn't crash, and I drove for around 500 km without any issues or stutters when switching between cameras. I didn't yet try without the launch options. I think the game engine simply gets overwhelmed sometimes, as I also have Jazzycat's traffic packs enabled.
