Not to my knowledge, but anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Assuming realistic fuel consumption (it's a good feature, no reason not to use it), from what I understand the chief effects on fuel economy are vehicle weight and engine power. A 13 liter engine is going to get better fuel economy than a 15 or 16 liter, which is why the integrated DD-13 on the 57x is so good.

i managed to get my Volvo with ISX15 500 up to 5.5 mpg... but for now i switched to a Peterbilt 389 with a Paccar MX-13 430hp 6x4 chassis and a 10-Speed Eaton Fuller with retarder and after 3.000 Miles i´m at 5.9 mpg but in between i also managed to go up to 6.4 mpg but my loads got heavier.

but still i think both are able to get a much better economy and since i drive the Pete i also try not hit the gas too hard...

funny thing about the 6.4 mpg is that i reached this at 75 mph but my load was only around 15.000lb.

I absolutely dont understand how some of you get these high mpg values.

Over the course of 216 deliveries with a total of 140,405 miles (225.960km) and an average cargo weight of 38,054 lbs (17.261t), rarely going over 65mph and often actively trying to get good milage I have an average fuel economy of 5,7mpg. Most of these deliverys (177) are made with a Mack Anthem paired with the 505hp MP8 and the mDrive ATO 12-speed, though the differences between trucks seem negligible.
I have realistic fuel consumption on and play with steering wheel + pedals.
Seriously, how do you do it?

trip consumption, you can drive for hours without a real change because of your mileage, if you reset your trip meter the MPG "meter" will also reset and then you can test how good you are on this one job, i also reached 8.5 and almost 9 mpg on some jobs with my LT and the biggest cummins engine it has available where the average weight of the cargo is 13t, for whatever reason WoTr doesnt give me more, a thing i have to investigate

or you reset it after every tank refill also a possibility

I always reset mine every load after I get loaded and rolling with the cruise set, works better than resetting it every time I fuel up.

Guess I wasnt clear enough: I keep a log of every job I take, did that for a while now. I have all the individual deliveries in a list. I always reset the trip after picking up the load before I start driving.

The best MPG I got since starting this log was pretty recently:
Western Star 5700XE, Detroit DD16 560 and Detroit DT12-OA with a 3-axle Lodeking Dropdeck, delivering a 11,000lbs / 5t ventilation shaft 322 miles from Great Falls to Glendive. 7,8mpg and with freight that lightweight.
Other than that I have 2 or 3 deliveries with 7,1mpg, also very light and everything else is way below 7

The newer trucks seem to do a lot better with fuel mileage because they have their own transmissions.

driving style then, wheels might also play a role if you use Smartys wheel pack, i coast as much as i can without loosing speed, no lead on the pedal and quick shifting when possible and use of CC all the way where it is doable, ofc the AI can ruin this pretty quickly

well and truck generation also like it was said
