In the game I have the lights on all the time, they don't bother me, and I don't have to worry about turning them on.

Hi Kids!
I was trying this wonderfull truck (I'll have a video of it in my channel in one week). Smarty, you made a really nice truck, with lots of details and you can clearly see the love and dedication that you put making this truck.
I am using the Cummins NTC 475 BC II (1980) engine and the Fuller R96 5.90 transmision. The truck only have a 47mph max top speed. Is there any way to speed up the truck? I think that it has to be the transmision, but I don't know wich one will fill better.
Regards,
Capitan_JodePartidas

Hello, @Capitan_JodePartidas
With such a powerful engine I'd recommend using transmission with a lower differential. Try one with 4.x or even 3.x differential ratio - they will give you 50+ mph top speed.
It is always working this way - the lower the differential ratio - the higher your top speed.

I knew it! I knew it ! I knew that you would be the one to answer that kind of question!
... jokes aside, I know that It had to be the transmision, but I was looking at the Ratios and not to the differential. I would have it in mind for more trucks, cuz, with some of the Antonio62's one I am also having the same problem. The MAN 520HN, with the transmision that I picked for him, will blow up.
Thx for the answer.

Edit 1: Uploading one of the videos for the channel, I notice that Smarty recomends the Stabilaire chasis for more speed... So....

Yep, you can only pull steep gears, like 5.00:1 and steeper, with some serious overdrive gears in your box(es). Without overdrive(s), you have to run gears like 3.90:1 or 4.50:1 at most in the differentials.
That's why the Spicer 6x4 had two over drives, one in each box.

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 350 [1.0.1 - 18/03/2023]
After the PikPikker answer I tried the 4.70 (if I remember correctly). The truck reached the 55 +/- speed, but I thought that was not enough.
I switched to the 216" TA Stabilaire/SQHD chasis and the Fuller RT-9513 3.70 transmision. Now the truck can reach 60mph and I think that It has to be able to reach more, but now I am at Oregon, with a speed limit of 60. So.... I will try to found the limits of the truck in another state.
But I am happy with the changes.
Thx for your answers.

"E-F RTO-915 Gearboxes & Diffs" mod on the workshop has support for this truck and will allow you to choose just about any diff ratio.
Re: [REL] Peterbilt 350 [1.0.1 - 18/03/2023]
You can download the truck from Smarty's website, open the archive (def/vehicle/truck/peterbilt.350_scr/transmission) and set any differential ratio you want for any transmission.
Or... you can try another option - 3.70 differential ratio with an overdrive transmission (overdrive transmission is the one with the last gear lower than 1, I mean, something like 0.x).

Thx for the answers buddies.
For the moment, 3.70 works fine for me. But I will keep in mind all this advice that you gave me.
