SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
Would it be possible to put the small mirror in the middle of the hood like in the movie Duel to see the exhaust pipe?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
It's not the same truck though
Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
I know it is not the same truck, the one in the movie is 281/351.
Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
I think it'd be nice if you put the wheels into your wheel pack as well, for use with other trucks of similar vintage
Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
I made a post on whether it would be possible to make the Cummins 262:

It would look great on this truck.

Those new (ahem) rims and tires look sick.
Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
The mirror suggestion is not a bad idea; I'll be sure to give it a shot, though I'm not looking forward to having to explain it to the 95% of players who don't know what it's for.
As for the wheels/tires: they've always been destined for the Wheel Pack. If you dig through the current release, I'm quite sure my original mockups for them are among the files.

Thank you Smarty.
Well, I'll explain it for those who do not know why the mirror in the middle of the hood.
It was used to look at the color of the smoke, if it came out very black, to stop using the engine brake.
Greetings from Spain.

Ah right, interesting. I knew it was for looking at the exhaust and its fumes, but I wasn't 100% sure. But that makes sense!
Maybe it'd be good to put that into truck's description. If someone asks, you can just redirect them to that, Smarty.
