@BK Vissers - Open interior has a window in the back of the cab while the Closed does not.

Yes some engine sounds are weaker in cab than others, making it a bit harder to hear clearly the engine revving up (useful to change gears).
@Harven
Yes all the eb's sound great (thanks Captain Kriechbaum), I set the volume to 1.30 in and outside.
Didn't check the 4x2 version yet, I suppose backing a bit the driving axle and leaving the 5th wheel where it is would do the trick at least for ETS2 (the chassis overhang is a bit long so it would do).
But you know Freightliner must be the only US manufacturer that has never sold their trucks in Europe so I don't have any reference pictures.
The only referenced matching 4x2 tractor sold in Switzerland in the 80' I found was the White RC II with a sleeper cab and a 4 meters wheelbase
.
Edit : found one, second hand truck in Russia

And regarding 5th wheel height you were right so I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the reply Harven!
I understand your opinion regarding prices, but yep, I can't agree.
))) Yes, I can't be more agree with you regarding the used truck implementation in general. There is a thread somewhere about what SCS should implement to the games and used trucks are one of the most wanted feature. I did not feel cheating to use cheap mods, because it is something similar how small trucking companies usually starts to operate this side of the pond. Starts with cheap, old trucks then look for better, newer rigs with time. But again: I completly understand what are you saying and see your point. You know this is funny: This is really one of the most wanted feature by the ATS / ETS2 community and - in my understanding - it does not require huge efforts to implement it, but SCS seems to ignore it. A used truck offering would be relatively easy to implement, and would require much less manpower to implement then map extensions, or rims. Similar to the "buy truck online" part, but available only when you actually visit the dealer. And finally that would make some sense why to explore all the truck dealers on the map. The odometer value is stored for a truck anyway, so the price could be adjusted to that, plus if that value is high, the wear and tear probabilty should be higher too. "Old truck means more visits to the repair shop" problem solved. The truck configuration is a question of random generation, so this would be a great fun to hunt for good offers... Ehh, sorry I went to offtopic. Stop that here.
But how about a "used truck pricing" mod, like you did with the engine hotfix? (Really don't want to push you, this is just an idea. Your mod, your rules.)
Odometer settings: Setting it to zero makes sense, because your idea behind your version is - if I understand correctly - "this is a new truck but older technology". The parts, and many of the skins looks shiny and new. (Many of them. My own company skin is looks like an old, used truck with a company sticker on the doors.) If you change that part, please have a look on the OBC display as well, the odometer shows different value there and on the speedometer.
Horn/light attachment points: That is odd. The previous version I have (FLB edit by AlexeyP, available in the Workshop) have this feature. I am not 100% sure - I will have a look - but I remember like that truck have a mechanic odometer on the speedo as well. Probably mistaken with other COE truck I have in my fleet, but I will check to tell you for sure. UPDATE: Okay, I just checked. That version have a mechanic odometer. Hmmm... You obviously started to work with another version.

Seems to have a very high fps from inside the cab compared with other trucks, for me it's using about 30fps more than anything else.

I spent some time yesterday driving around in this. It's a wonderful mod. Good FPS on my weaker computer, nice sound, good variety of options. Really well done!
My only suggestion would be to move the horn adapter slots farther back. Right now every horn sticks out well past the windshield and I've never seen any real truck have that. It's a problem with vanilla SCS roof bars as well, but since you're able to fix this, why not?

Be patient guys. Be thankful we have someone who wants to take on the FLB and keep it updated. Its one my favs as well. Harven is on the right track so keep the conversation going. But remember it takes time. You can find some of my FLB skins on my workshop. If you use any of my FLB skins Ill wait till Harven updates the template to see if there any future interference.
