Re: Your favourite driving songs?
When I am streaming on YouTube i try to avoid chart music, or even classical works due to possible copyright blocks, so get some epic cinematic music or similar from sources like AKM music, digital downloads cost around 35 quid for a 16 track album but it beats legal fees from the likes of EMI, WARNER, SONY and others because 35 seconds of [enter generic chart group] latest song just got picked up.
However if I am not driving, j tend to have "2 STEPS FROM HELL" or similar.
being one such song
Or I will put on something like this

Long nightly highway trip and this
Re: Your favourite driving songs?
I'd say the Hurry Up music already in the game is pretty good for driving, but I like to listen to an internet radio station called Russkie Pesni. It's in Russian, and I can't understand a word, but I've found it's pretty good driving music as well.
Also: I like cranes. (Liebherr is pronounced Leeb-Hair)

This is my favourite one

Radar Love IS THE DEFINITIVE DRIVING SONG, and my use of capital letters can be a sign that I understand what I mean.

It's just now that I've found out about this thread, and what I have been missing...
I don't have a specific genre or type of music that I like to listen to when playing ETS2, many times I would just let the radio play and that's it.
But as I'm a lazy guy that is not bothered with making playlists on youtube or other music apps, when I'm having a "musical inspiration", I always go with a DJ set.
My favourites are Progressive House sets from the early 2000's, stuff from names such as John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Satoshi Tomiie, Deep Dish and so on.
And for more recent names I would highly raccomend to take a listen to Guy J, to me personally one of the best on the contemporary electronic music scene.
Here is somenthing to give you an idea of what i'm writing about:

Re: Your favourite driving songs?
I unironically listen to this haha ... I like the overall sound, and the "retro" atmosphere, even if it's a parody
