SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: Technical data Resources (Engines and gearboxes)
Hi, so i've been editing mod engine torque curves for a while now thanks to rookie_one's documentation and others who have helped compile it. You guys are awesome finding this info!! I wanted to make sure I am reading the SCS wiki documentation correctly when it comes to torque curves. The way I read it is any rpm value below 300 and above 2600 is ignored, correct? Because I see a lot of these engine sound modders putting in values below and above these thresholds and I can't figure out why they do this. So just wanted to verify that I'm reading this correctly.

A very handy Conversion Table I just found at the back of an MTU (Rail Powertrain) document:
Should be helping you out in all the conversions, hp-kw-nm-gal-mile-km... you name it.
Print it out and keep it under your pillow
Original source: https://www.mtu-solutions.com/content/d ... e-rail.pdf (page 35 of 36)

Missed getting that document, if you can send it back to add to the archive.Aji Damarjati wrote: 22 May 2024 15:24 I also found this document, a complete range of Scania gearbox from 2005.
On the side of Volvo, I added the newer PDF files for both engines and transmissions before I thought about checking back that thread, but thanks for the gesture, very appreciated
@galimim as usual, unless we get someone that have some friends at a dealership, we won't have those

I have another batch of technical data from late 90's to early '00 by Caterpillar!
Caterpillar 3406E (Individual PDF File for each rating from 350 hp to 600 hp) There is 14.6 liter 3406E (Which becomes C-15 6NZ) and 15.8 liter 3406E (Which become C-16 7CZ)

Caterpillar C-10

Caterpillar C-12
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
Caterpillar C-15 and C-16 Pre Emission / Pre-ACERT
