Why am I getting frequent long page loading, often ending up with timeout, every time I try to post something? Also coincided with logouts for no reason.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
Is there a "roadmap" for SCS?
I love their blog posts and announcements but it can be a lot to sift through. I know they have some "sneak previews" in their live videos, etc. Sometimes I don't have 3 hours to find out stuff. A single page of roadmapped items would be super helpful.
That'd be cool if they had a roadmap I could look at and be excited about. I mainly play SCS games only, but I'm also thinking of others who maybe stopped playing maybe would've stayed if they knew the roadmap.
I also vaguely remember SCS posting something like don't believe everything you read and don't start rumours. Best way to get rid of that kind of stuff is to just have a roadmap. Doesn't need to be promises, just "things we are actively working on". Maybe SCS doesn't want to be that transparent and I can understand that. Just also would be nice if even a dedicated fan mapped out all these possible sneak peaks of what's to come. I see way more rumors than anything "official".

No they don't do a roadmap and don't intend to do one in the future.
The downside of roadmaps is it creates expectations and if things don't work out also ill feeling. With no formal roadmap they can work to their own pace and only release things when they are comfortable with them.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
The only thing that could be called a “roadmap” of sorts is the blog posts in which SCS announces new map DLC that they have started working on. All other releases of paid DLC like trucks, trailers or cargo packs are only announced when their release is right around the corner. Thus, and as Madkine has stated, any attempt by the fanbase to make up a roadmap will end up as absolute speculation.

Why is the forum so slow and giving "502 bad gateway"? it has been going on for weeks now.

Agree with this, it is counterintuitive to say something like this and then not communicate with the community other than some marketing text via a blogpost once in a while. Just look at the silence since they teased the Volvo truck 2 years ago, it sets the system up for neferious persons to spread rumours upon rumours via YT, and just general speculation among the different forums. Basically majority of the time this forum is nothing more than a specualtion hub.RoundTheBend wrote: 14 Dec 2024 05:30 I also vaguely remember SCS posting something like don't believe everything you read and don't start rumours. The forum has been much faster for me for at least the last 12 hours.VirtualTruckTravels wrote: 14 Dec 2024 16:32 Why is the forum so slow and giving "502 bad gateway"? it has been going on for weeks now.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
It's an on-and-off phenomenon really. I've had both immediate response and Bad gateway screens, posting can take as much as 20 seconds etc.; stability feels a bit random right now.

Yeah it is. Hope this good patch extends for a bit.
