Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
Have to say I have issues, it's fine on the forum index pages, but about 75% when entering a thread, at home, at work, or on my phone, it seems to want to load each object individually so it takes forever to actually load the page, making reading the boards a real chore. So it's a range of networks, range of browsers and range OS I'm encountering it on.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
Recently, a serious phpBB vulnerability hit the news. I hope this forum is updated or will be soon.

^ Can confirm this does not affect us.

I declined and held the line and watched the angels fall.

I also have the same issues. For example, the Coaches topic: some pages take almost a minute to load, while others load immediately. Interestingly, if I log in, the page that previously took a long time to load now loads instantly.hangman005 wrote: 11 Jun 2026 12:26 Have to say I have issue, it's fine on the forum index pages, but about 75% when entering a thread, at home, at work, or on my phone, it seems to want to load each object individually so it takes forever to actually load the page, making reading the boards a real chore. Also, some pages that took a significant amount of time loading, after a few days, load without problems. I think almost always it's the last page of the topic that is problematic.
I use Brave mobile browser, and I haven't noticed similar problems on other sites. It literally renders the page chunk by chunk.
Edit: today I noticed the same behaviour on my work laptop, also Brave browser. Tested with my home network, mobile network, as well as with the network at my work.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
I've just reproduced it on my PC as well (reproduced on both Brave and Chrome), and also checked what's happening in the background. It looks like all the resources load almost immediately (I forced load without cache), but the forum page itself takes a long time to load.
Unfortunately, it looks like I can't post screenshots here, so here's what I found:
* All the resources loaded in less than 100 ms each.
* The forum page took 2.2 minutes to load. The initial server response took 9 seconds, while downloading the content took 2.1 minutes.
* Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): `div.list-inner` — 58.12 seconds.
I'm happy to help and provide more details if needed. Btw, everything started in June, eventually end of May. If it's relevant for investigation, I'm from Serbia.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
All I'm saying is that I don't have any of those issues in recent time, since last big downtime acknowledged by the team. Occasional 429 but that could be just me clicking through pages too quickly.
Even posting this took less than 5 seconds.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
Then it looks like it's somehow region-related or something like that; I don't have an idea at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if it's some issue on the ISP side for specific sites, but who knows; that's why I'm reporting it just in case. If it's ISP, I wouldn't expect it to act differently from page to page, and it wouldn't depend on whether I'm logged in or not. Literally every page loads immediately when I'm logged in.

@miki208 You can post screenshots, but each attachment must be under 1.1MB.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
Btw why the "attachments" interface still says, quote: "Maximum filesize per attachment: 20 MiB." Can the label be fixed if the actual limit is lower?
