GPS issue [KNOWN]

Very often GPS direct me to take a slip way from motorway and then direct me back to motorway straight away after leaving it. For example this happens sometimes when there is a fuel station aside the main road,gps direct me through fuel station instead of main road..

This is also well known and even though it may or may not be considered a bug (it depends on who you talk to) it is very unlikely to be fixed, as a lot of the gas stations would have to be remade to make the driveways in and out of them longer. The "problem" is that the calculation for distance is done from point A to point B via the shortest distance, and if passing by a gas station is shorter than the passing through a gas station, it uses passing through the gas station as part of the route. It does the same thing in ETS2 if the route through whatever company yard it is that has two gates is closer than going around it.

Quick and easy solution, for both ATS and ETS2: Stay on the road and drive past the gas station or company yard.

It happens to me too and sometimes it is frustrating.

If you think about it, real world GPS systems are not 100% accurate. So it is pretty realistic that this happens.

GPS in SCS games is waay more reliable than those mobile ♥♥♥♥ GPS apps in some phones.

Very true... Something I forgot to mention in my previous post, is that technically speaking, the GPS is the Global Positioning System, which in the game would be represented by the Blue Arrow which shows your position and the direction you are traveling. The OP is actually referring to the Route Advisor, not the GPS.
