starts to forget about upper case lettering, special symbols and spaces in your paths, use only lowercase letters and _ instead of space, the log cleary says what is the problem

"'O:/ATS/[MODDING' is not recognized as an internal or external command,"

because you use a space, so the command prompt things after the word modding it is done with the path but it isnt

"'UTILITIES]' is not recognized as an internal or external command,"

the same problem

Oh wow. So the whole thing with the error is a space in the path? Holy smokes. Let me try something right now then. THANKS!!!!!!


EDIT: That worked! Thanks. I am back to modding after 2 years' hiatus :)

Annnnd ... now a new issue. Made the edits. no errors on import. No errors on export. But even though I am on a test profile with my mod being the ONLY mod activated, the changes do not appear. Per suggestions in this thread, yes, looks are assigned, and parts are assigned. Transform locations are centered appropriately. File structure is confirmed on both import and export of the model. And I have assured the mod is indeed active on my test profile.

That's a video of the issue. Any ideas? It's so frustrating to be this close to having my mod done and be blocked by no errors at all in any of the logs.

you didnt specify an export path, so it exports it into the root, that is the first error (default export path under the export button)

Should that export path be the same as the mod export down below? Because when i try to point that to my export folder it won;t do it. Just puts two lines up there.

it has to point into the folder the model is located, in your case //vehicle/truck/kenworth_t680/interior

// means only root, and if you cant select it it means it isnt in your base project path

i just did the edits myself rudimentary and i get it ingame without problems, changes to any variants or looks arent really needed, was just a bit of moving and then exporting

Ah crud. Okay. Well, at least one step is found. Although even though i did that, now no longer did the model appear in the base folder in the root, but it still got put into the export like that. Hmmmm. Want me to make an updated vid of what it looks like?

thats how i did it, mind you my workflow setup can be wastly different, maybe therein lays the problem

it is still processing, so will take a bit

from your video i see you append the model, i dont know if this work because i dont use it myself, what you can do is after exporting the model, import the unconverted files again and check if your edits are there, if not it means that appends dont work
