You could connect a second hand indicator of a car to your controller. In germany you get old indicators starting from 10€.

I actually still have an old Comm 2000 unit of my Peugeot 206 lying around, but I don't have the tools nor the knowledge to attach it to the wheel.

I saved a shifter knob of my old Ford Focus and yesterday I build a mega shifter with switches from it and i buyed a old logitech controller and connect the wires on the mainboard of the controller and it works like charm, total costs 2,50 euro.

My little corner of joy
Thrustmaster T300 with Sparco R383 rim (it's amazing and the biggest you can find for T300- perfect for trucking) and custom Nexus 7 mod as a dashboard running SimHub, TH8A shifter with custom 3d printed truck shifter, t3pa pro pedals, Recaro electric seat (coz I also love sim racing) and button box. All mounted on heavily modified GT Omega racing rig. Got Rift but prefer to truck on this 47inch LG TV
