Poll: Choose (3) States you would like to see next
Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next
We might not get an announcement on the stream this year just like last year. If Oklahoma gets announced, I hope its a bday present in September, lol. Texas will just be releasing in Nov/Dec perhaps and maybe we don't see how they split until Spring with heavier Oklahoma blogging.
The Cruising event might be over by Sept. then and time to tease Oklahoma. The xmas stream should be more Oklahoma and California perhaps along with things from the vehicle team and programmers.
But yeah, the super team idea could work and your thinking makes sense. Arkansas and Louisiana could be more work. The GP are much easier and faster to map. We see this with Montana. Although I don't favor it vs new biomes, I'd be okay getting a larger map quicker and keeping it boxed. But after Nebraska, I'd love to see Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri follow.

Either 2 big map teams, or 3 ATS regular size map teams, that is my theory.

Nothing to say here anymore.

@Shiva. That's what I've been saying, but 2 big teams won't happen until the rebuild team is done doing what they do or hire more and always keep a rebuild team in the back pocket for map maintenance and updates.
@Atsguy99 Why Nebraska and Oklahoma. You are okay with a huge gap with Kansas missing? Tracking OKC to Omaha....That's a C shaped map for ya for sure. If that's really what you want, you have that right. I-40 from OKC to Albuquerque, to Denver then to Omaha.

fyi. I made the poll for people to choose whatever they wish. I don't have to like it, you do but I'm always curious to know one's thinking. Most of the community despises L and C shaped maps so I always ask. Sure there are a few shortcuts in that C shaped map like US-385 and US-87 but its still a C shaped route.

Not that it makes much of a difference, but seeing as SCS added I-25 exit 451 in Raton, NM in update 1.44, I think it's safe to assume that we'll get US-87 through Clayton when Texas comes out. So a route from Oklahoma City to Omagh without Kansas would likely look something more like this. A bit shorter, but definitely still not desirable.

^Correct. That's why I put the text at the bottom of those 2 pics I posted about US-385 and US-87. Its still a lonnng route. I figure Kansas was forgotten about which is why the image usually reminds people. If people choose Kansas and Nebraska, then the gap is Oklahoma. Choose Nebraska and South Dakota now the gaps are Oklahoma and Kansas. North Dakota is at the top so nothing much we could do there. But the C shaped map will get cha. Adjacent state building is probably the route SCS goes with to keep connectivity going.
