I'm with oldmanclippy. 2029-2031 sounds like the sweet spot. I'm torn between OK+KS+NE and OK+AR+LA. I like both options. I really like building 2 columns of states simultaneously though. Worse case, back to back years. I'd like them to build to North Dakota and Minnesota simultaneously. But I'm also cool with getting up to Nebraska and Iowa and then Illinois to get to Chicago.

I'm happy with any state that may come next, I ain't fussy. Every single DLC is a step closer towards Maine and in my eyes that is a great thing.

And to think that by this time next year we will have one of these two scenarios:

I do like LA/AR over KS/NE because of the biomes. At one point, I was looking forward to OK/KS and then LA/AR when the thought was stairstep and get to Florida.

Option 1. We really need SCS to jump to Ph 1 Nevada for I80.
Option 2. I wonder if people will complain and say it's a L shape.

I don't think L shaped happens when we have stacked states. But like I mentioned, I really like 2 columns and alternate left to right...South to North.

Would it be possible to have a combination of the two scenarios? Because I don't think we will have NE by this time next year. But I think it is possible to have KS + LA + AR. Because OK also still is in the works.

KS/NE may seem unusually flat and boring, but I think it needs to come first due to the stack structure of DLC's. It's likely Pavel will tease it in the Xmas stream. Texas team could join Jakub and do I-80 in Nevada. I also would've thought Florida originally would be more exciting, but going northward would be more sensual.

I would love to see KS/NE first. I would love to drive the I-70 and I-80 starting from east towards the Rockies. But I also wonder what the Kansas and Nebraska DLCs will bring besides Kansas City, Omaha, the usual mid-sized cities and small towns...

Probably not even Kansas City. Overland Park if we're lucky.

I could honestly see them do Kansas City like they did Dallas-Fort Worth. Overland Park (Fort Worth) would be assigned to Kansas and Kansas City (Dallas) would be assigned to Missouri.
Not entirely sure what they would do with the road connections, seeing as the two-digit interstate junctions are on the Missouri side of the city. Maybe they would include part of I-435 to make it easier.

If there are as many map leads with as many map teams as suggested, I'd really think they COULD go both directions. Let 2 of the map teams work through OK/KS/NE/SD/ND as single state DLC and the other 2 map teams work the LA/AR, MS/AL to release the first combined DLC.

I'm with flight50 on this one, I want to see another biome.... more of the plains (like what we see already in parts of WY and MT) are great and all, but I was/am looking forward to the bayou feel of the southeast and the semi tropical feel of southern Florida.

@55sixxx I can not wait til they get to Maine. I hope they don't run out of steam before then. I'm both excited to see them cover my home state and slightly terrified that it might get axed all up due to scale. But definitely looking forward to seeing the Atlantic in the cab of my (digital) truck.
