One of the roof bars contains all of the extra slots, such as the under the mirror ones.

I put the Michelin toys but they do not glow (although they seem to be, they always glowed)
Could this be related to the fact that I'm playing on 1.43 or a mod conflict?

An interesting mod... The description of the mod says version 2.7, and when downloading in the manifest, the version is 2.6

It does work.

Click the grey Light Bar node then click a red node, and you have the 50k accessories. Here's RJL's 2009:
