Santa Fe level crossing. LC lights were off when crossing of intersection commenced. Truck became stuck as soon as lights activated.

Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I had a similar problem in Albuquerque, on the small road north of the Peterbilt dealership. Boomgates going up and down like see-saws for quite some time. Not even a chance to enter the crossing.

Re: (1.29) Level crossing bug (still)
Had the same thing happen to me in Clovis. Lights werent on, went to cross, lights/gates activated, and I was stuck. The train came and stopped in time not to hit my truck and blared its horn several times. As neither I nor the train could move, I had to F7 out of there. Anyways as I have suggested in another similar post (Tucson Railroad Crossing) there needs to be a significant time delay added between signal lights and gates. Further The truck should not be hindered(nor freeze in place) much by the gates should they come down, rather I would suggest the gates bounce back up or break on contact with the truck. In the case the truck crashes through the gates there could be a fine as well.

Re: (1.29) Level crossing bug (still)
Same scenario for me yesterday, SEVERAL times. Had to F7 out of it with damage to load.
This particular crossing is a nightmare at the moment. Can sit at Red lights waiting, and when they turn Green, a train comes and barriers drop. You can't go anywhere. Train also sits in the middle of junction for no apparent reason, again, you can't go anywhere. I counted SIX light change sequences before I could turn left at this junction coming from my garage, on one occasion.
It might be an idea to add a piece of code that says: If Truck <> a & b train = 0 else (drop barrier,) train = 1

From this post viewtopic.php?p=821225#p821225mjack wrote: 09 Nov 2017 09:54 But we didn't have a report in QA about this (I haven't found any, neither have you). Only few days ago our internal testers reported it. It will be fixed in the next update (it is too late for 1.29)

This bug is still active in latest patch.
Copy paste numbers from bug report:
It also adds multible trains and sometimes the gate or whatever it's called, does not go down untill the first train has passed.. And when second has passed it can lift/open for traffic and just when you thought it was clear and traffic is going, then a new train comes and gates close instant and your trailer is stuck!
Please fix this soon.
