I’m using the SCS version of the Scania. Since version 1.58, the truck’s sound seems to be the default SCS sound instead of the mod’s one.
I haven’t changed anything regarding my mods; my setup is identical to what it was in version 1.57.

This means you have fitted an engine that is not covered by the mod [yet], probably one of the Super engines. The issue is known and there is a temporary solution just a few pages back. Read the posts starting here: viewtopic.php?p=2076533#p2076533

I'm using a non-modified 770 engine, and this sound works perfectly!

I'm playing with a standard 770 hp engine, and this sound mod worked with standard 730 hp engines on Scania S\R. I don't think you should have any problems.

Thank you very much. I started ETS2 again with a completely new save, and I don’t have access to the 770hp yet. I’ll see if it works for me once I unlock it.
Hopefully maybe there will be a patch from Kriechbaum by then.

I tried this fix, but it doesn’t seem to work for me.
I’ll try again anyway, paying close attention to the load order of the different mods.
The default SCS Scania sound is so low-quality compared to Kriechbaum’s mod that playing feels almost sad without it.
